A few photo highlights from a relaxed summer where I was working to regain strength, fitness and stability in my knee after surgery in April.

Apart from specific rehab exercises and training plans, I managed to get out on my bike quite a bit and racked up a total of 716km with 16,840m of elevation gain, and 160km with 16,969m of elevation gain hiking and running around the valley (thanks Strava statistics).
I actually ended up hiking and cycling more than I would usually do in summer, and it definitely helped with my process a lot. Getting out on the bike and hiking kept me sane, as I had spent a lot of time indoors during the first few weeks post surgery.
