I didn’t excel at art when I was in School. But I’d like to think that skiing is an art form and one that I’ve adopted over time as my way of expressing myself. Thanks to Nadine for taking these photos of me and showing the simplicity behind a few turns in deep snow.
Skiing continues to give me so much satisfaction and joy. There’s no Brexit during these turns, no social anxiety, no student debt, no reality TV, no emails, no phone calls, no pollution, no queues, no nothing. There is absolutely nothing happening during these turns apart from the smooth shifting of snow by my skis and my complete focus in the moment.
