Aiguille d’Entrèves, East face, 4.2 E2
Ski tour from Pointe Helbronner to the left, to the Col d’Entrèves. Climb the ridge leading to the east from the col until you reach the snowy south east facing slopes via a short scramble. We skied down to the Toula glacier and it is also possible to ski down to the Entrèves glacier. Left looked better, so we took that option.

Conditions were a little crusty on the top section until the ridge separating the Toula and Entrèves glaciers, followed by beautiful soft powdery snow for the main east face. The Toula glacier provided some good corn skiing before it became a slush party back to the mid station.
